Bringing modern design techniques to a country hungry for innovation

Two years ago, I spent a week in Shanghai and got an up-close-and-personal look at modern China.

The experience blew my mind.

I spoke at an Innovation festival, coached several startup teams, and gave a 2-day Game Thinking workshop to a packed room of entrepreneurs — most of whom were female.

I’d never felt anything like the energy coursing through the Shanghai startup scene. The people I met were sharp, determined, and incredibly hard-working.

Since then, I’ve been following China’s development as an innovation powerhouse on the world stage. While the US is falling, China is on the rise.

When we published Game Thinking in 2018, we connected with many publishers who wanted to translate our book into other languages.

Late in 2018, we cut a deal to translate Game Thinking into Chinese — and much to my delight, those publishers move FAST.

I’m delighted to announce that Game Thinking is available in Chinese! Here’s a book trailer with all the details.
